Hongkong Land is committed to sustainable development for the properties they develop and manage to minimise the impact on the environment as far as is practicable.
Reporting on sustainability performance on an annual basis, the publication covers three areas: the Environment, Health & Safety, and the Community. In the 2013 edition, special attention has been paid to the anatomy of smart building, illustrating back-end efforts done behind the scenes. The illustration showed how their interlinked buildings, including office towers, retail malls and mixed-use complexes, are intricate, self-contained ecosystems that has been maintained at a high standard to ensure safe, healthy conditions for their occupants.
